20 December 2019                                                                                                                                           Newsletter 15

Dear Parents and Carers

Thank you to everyone for all your support over a very busy term and particularly to those who were able to come to the Christmas performances and services this week.  We hope you enjoyed the hard work put in by the children, the parent helpers and the staff!

Class 1:  Class 1 will be doing Forest School the first day back on 7th January so please make sure they have appropriate waterproofs and warm ‘messy’ clothes in school to change into.

Year 6 Guided Reading:  Please continue with your ‘Design a Chocolate Bar’ homework set last week.

Breakfast Club Invoices:  These are enclosed for the second half of Autumn term.  If only one session was attended in the period an invoice has not been raised this time but it will be carried forward and invoiced next half term.

If your child attends Breakfast Club please remember that, as per Newsletter 13, the cost per session will rise to £3 from January.

Invoices / Statements for After School Care for Autumn 2019 will be sent out at the start of next term.

Bridge Update:  I am sure that many of you will already know – and be delighted – that the M50 overbridge on the B4208 will be open after today, albeit one lane at a time with traffic lights!  We have also been asked to let you know that it will be fully closed again from 8pm on 24th January till 6am on 27th January to allow some further work to be completed.

Have a lovely Christmas break and we will see you on 7th January!

Mrs Gilroy and the staff team
