Dear Parents and Carers

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for the Easter Service this morning.  A huge well done to Class 1 and Years 3 and 4 for presenting such a lovely service.  Thank you to Miss Hayles for working with the children to create it.

Year 6 Homework:  Please complete as many of the Maths and Guided Reading SATs busters as you can over the Easter holidays.  Also practise your Year 5 & 6 spellings!

Bridge Closure:  A reminder that by the time we come back for Summer Term the M50 bridge on the B4208 will have closed to traffic.  Please allow a little extra time for your journey if you come that way and safely follow the signposted diversions.

Swimming Lessons:  Our lessons start back again on 2nd May.  Please make sure your child has their kit in school on this day.

Breakfast Club Invoices:  These are enclosed for the second half of Spring term.  If we have not received a payment for the first half of Spring term – or if your child only attended one session which was not billed – this will show as a brought forward balance.  Invoices / Statements for After School Care for Spring term will be sent out at the beginning of next term.

School Uniform:  If you need to order any more uniform a flyer is enclosed from Brigade detailing last order dates.

Payments4Schools:  If you use this facility we have been advised that the site will be down for maintenance on 16th and 17th April so please do not attempt to make payments on these dates.

Elections:  The school hall will be in use as a Polling Station on Thursday 2nd and Thursday 23rd May but for the avoidance of any doubt the school will be open as normal on these days.

Friends’ News:  Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Family Bingo evening last week and especially to our excellent caller Ms White and her assistant Fran.  We had a lot of fun and raised around £250.  Almost as soon as we come back there will be our Jumble Sale on Saturday 4th May and we would very much appreciate donations of cakes on Friday 3rd May for the cake stall as well as pre-loved items for the sale.
