Dear Parents and Carers

Menus: These are attached for the period to 8th March, which straddles the half term.  Please look over these with your child and return them with payment if appropriate on Monday.

Class 1 News

Homework:  Read soma traditional tales at home to get you in the mood for Wednesday morning.  Think about which is your favourite.

Storytelling Activities with Countryside Day Nursery:  Countryside will be visiting us on Wednesday for a morning of fun filled story telling activities.  Come dressed as a character from a traditional tale.

Class 2 News

Homework:  Next week, you will be required to design and build your landing module to ensure the safe arrival of your Eggnaut on Mars. For homework, see if you can find any junk materials that you (or other children in Class 2) might like to use for this project. Please bring them in as soon as possible next week. Your home recycling might be a great place to start looking for materials!

Year 6 Guided Reading:  Complete the reading comprehension for Wednesday.

Year 4 Dance Festival:  On Tuesday 5th February pupils from this year will be going to a Dance Festival at Hanley Castle High School (morning only).  Please sign and return the enclosed consent form.

Year 5 & 6 Residential:  Thank you to those of you who have already paid the initial deposit of £55.  The second instalment of £50 is due on 1st February.  If you have not already paid this – or if you have still to pay the initial deposit – please do so by this date. 

Overdue Library Books:  If there is a slip attached, please have a good look at home for these books.

Waitrose Tokens:  Don’t forget that during February FOPS will be one of the local charities supported by Waitrose in Malvern with their green tokens scheme.  Please encourage friends and family to shop there and vote for us to receive a share of £1000!
