Head Teacher's Welcome
A warm welcome from our Head Teacher
I have great pleasure in introducing you to our dynamic, positive and aspiring learning community of which my colleagues and I are very proud.
We believe there are many merits to choosing a small school for your child's education, which we hope are showcased through the different areas of the website. Some of these attributes include:
- High staff:pupil ratio
- Consecutive years of grammar school entrants
- Feeder school for Hanley Castle High School
- A focus on inclusion and well-being of pupils
- Strong, supportive relationships amongst stakeholders
- Swimming from Reception to Year 6
- On-site catering for hot lunches
- Wraparound care - 0800-1730 (4 days a week)
- Recent Good SIAMS inspection
This is a highly motivated, hard-working school, totally committed to providing an excellent platform for learning. I am very proud of the warm and happy atmosphere which encompasses the school, and believe that the key to our success is the quality of relationships and the high levels of care that exist among all members of the school community.
Home and school work closely together to provide a safe and secure environment in which children grow in confidence and independence. From this foundation, children are able to acquire respect for themselves, others and the environment; to use their powers of reasoning and imagination to discover, analyse, innovate, solve problems and to express their ideas confidently and to develop an enjoyment and life-long love of learning.
I hope that you find the information on the website helpful and informative. If you require any printed copies of the policies or information provided here or have any queries, please contact the school via office@pendockpri.worcs.sch.uk to request copies or make an appointment.
